Agriculture Training

The FFOU Agriculture Training Program addresses food insecurity and rural unemployment by teaching sustainable farming practices to youth and community members. Participants learn: crop cultivation and management (vegetables, fruits, staple crops), animal husbandry (poultry, pigs, goats), soil health and composting, water harvesting and irrigation, and agribusiness and market access. The program operates a demonstration farm at the FFOU centre, giving students hands-on experience before they apply knowledge in their home communities. Graduates have reported 40-60% increases in farm productivity.
